Catch-up on NCEA 2017 credits through Te Kura
Your child can get extra NCEA credits they need by studying online with Te Kura (The Correspondence School).
Every year, some students miss out on NCEA by just a few credits or need some additional credits to qualify for a tertiary course.
Studying online over the summer with Te Kura is one of the ways your teen can gain the few additional credits or standards they need.
Te Kura is a distance learning provider offering courses from early childhood to year 13. All the teachers are qualified, registered teachers.
Te Kura is taking summer school enrolments from 4 December 2017.
Work handed-in for assessment by 14 February 2018 can be counted toward 2017's Record of Achievement.
Eligible students who enrol now can get started on their work from 18 December.
A range of internal standards are offered at NCEA Levels 1, 2 and 3 in subjects including maths, English and science.
